Resin bound driveways.

A continuous natural-stone finish, with colour and border options to suit your home. We assess the existing construction, vehicle use, levels and drainage before recommending the build-up beneath it.

About Resin Bound Driveways

Choose the appearance. Understand the construction.

Resin bound combines aggregate with resin to form a trowelled surface. Explore blends against your brickwork, doors and edging, then confirm the specified products using physical samples. The retained base or new supporting construction must be suitable for the site and its use.

Beneath the finish

One engineering control process. Surface-specific construction.

Your driveway needs support suited to the ground and expected vehicle use. We review the existing construction, levels, drainage and edge restraints, then explain the recommended route and any further investigation needed.

  • Existing base: overlay or full reconstruction
  • Where surface water will go
  • Vehicle weight and turning areas
  • Edges, thresholds and the damp-proof course
  • Access for materials and waste

Structure First. Surface Second.

Why what's underneath matters.

Drag the handle to compare a rushed shallow dig with the way we build. An illustration, not a specification — your site sets the real depths.

Know what happens next.

  1. 1.

    Assess your site.

Tell us how you want the space to look and work. We review the existing surface, levels, drainage and access, and discuss suitable options.

  2. 2.

    Agree your proposal.

Your written proposal explains the recommended construction, materials, scope and price, including allowances and anything still to confirm.

  3. 3.

    Install and hand over.

We carry out the agreed work, review the finished project with you and explain the care and reopening guidance for your installation.

Understand what your price includes.

Your proposal brings preparation, supporting construction, materials and finishing details into one scope. It explains the work included, any allowances, exclusions and items that need further assessment.

If you want to explore a different budget, we can discuss the materials, detailing or extent of the project while keeping the preparation your site needs.

Resin Bound Driveways questions.

Can resin go over my existing drive?+

Only when the existing base is sound and suitable. We check this at your site assessment and explain which route is suitable.

Is resin bound permeable?+

Resin bound can let water pass through. For the whole driveway to drain through, the supporting layers and ground must also allow it. Dan reviews the complete construction and water route at assessment.

How long does it take to lay?+

Your proposal sets out the preparation and laying sequence for your site. Weather and the specified materials affect installation and curing; we confirm pedestrian access and vehicle reopening for your particular installation.

Let's plan your resin driveway.

Tell Dan what you want to change. We'll discuss your priorities, review the site and explain the proposed work and price in writing.
